GEAR
CHANGE is a family run business, with over 25 years trading experience,
having achieved a good reputation in the trade by supplying a quality
product with a service second to none.
We
work to an extremely high standard and rely on the quality of our
products and service provided to ensure that we keep a large and
loyal customer base. We will not compromise ourselves by cutting
standards in an effort to reduce costs. |

We
employ 11 people and specialise solely in the supplying
and fitting of manual gear boxes, transfer
boxes, differentials and clutches for cars and light commercial
vehicles.
We remanufacture in excess of 2000 manual gearboxes annually
for resale within the United Kingdom. In addition to this,
every year we export a substantial number of remanufactured
gearboxes to Europe. |

| We
have unrivalled experience in the South West. Our six gearbox technicians
have a combined total experience of nearly 100 years, with Gear
Change (4 of them joined us straight from school).

All
units are completely stripped and cleaned prior to rebuilding,
all components are inspected and any parts failing this inspection
are automatically changed. Bearings, gaskets and seals are
changed as a matter of course in all of our remanufactured
units. |

| When
possible we will rebuild to 'better than new' standard by using
any modified or upgraded parts that are available, also we may use
our own modifications to cure known weaknesses in particular units.
All
remanufactured units are supplied with a written 12 month / 12,000
mile guarantee.
If
you wish to 'have a go' at repairing a gearbox yourself our comprehensive
stock means that we can supply a wide range of parts 'off the shelf'.

With two vans on the road we are able to offer a daily collection
and delivery service to all customers in a 50 mile radius.
(A charge may be made for the delivery of parts only).

| Collection
and return of vehicles can be arranged if required, the cost of
this service is available on request. This service only applies
to the United Kingdom.
We
also have a number of courtesy cars available for customer use.
